The first time my family got access to the Internet, I was introduced to IRC. I had fun chatting with other people and it blew my mind that I can communicate with other people in different parts of the world. Then there was Asian Avenue and Myspace which allowed you to “customize” your pages. I wanted to make my page pretty so I wanted to learn how to do just that! From the very first time I was able to post a picture to a webpage, till now, I love being able to make websites!
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Interactive Media Design from the Art Institute of California – Los Angeles in 2005 with a 3.9 GPA. I was a major dork and I would spend many nights in the computer labs because I wanted good grades. Shortly after, I got hired by Apollo Interactive as a junior web producer. Unfortunately, in 2007, my dad passed away and I decide to make some sacrifices. I left the mainland and moved back home. I now work at MVNP. I started working there on June 18, 2007 which means I have been working there for the past 6 years.
I recently have been introduced to the world of responsive web design. This online portfolio of mine is my very first responsive website and I was pretty exciting to see it do what I want it to do. I can think of so many more ways to imporve it, but here is what I have so far. I am always willing to learn new things and this is just one of those things. Technology is always changing and I am constantly learning. Definitely, never boring!
